Iginiit ni Atty. Michael Poa, miyembro ng defense team ni Vice President Sara Duterte, na hindi nangangahulugang may illegal na aktibidad kapag mayroong suspicious transaction.
Aniya, “A suspicious transaction does not automatically equate to any wrongdoing or any unlawful activity.”
Kasunod ito ng inilabas na suspicious transaction reports ng Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) na may kaugnayan kay VP Sara at kanyang asawa na si Atty. Mans Carpio sa impeachment proceedings ng House Committee on Justice.
