Balik-puwesto na si suspended Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board Chairman Teofilo Guadiz III, ayon sa Department of Transportation.
Babalik si Guadiz bilang LTFRB head simula bukas, wala pang isang buwan matapos siyang suspindihin ni President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.
“In the exigency and best interest of service, Assistant Secretary Teofilo Guadiz III is hereby reinstated as chairperson of the LTFRB, effective 6 November 2023,” saad sa nilagdaan na special order ni Transport Secretary Jaime Bautista.
Matatandaang sa isang press conference noong Oktubre, inakusahan ni Jeffrey Tumbado, dating executive assistant ni Guadiz, na binebenta sa LTFRB ang pag-apruba ng mga prangkisa, ruta, at mga special permit, at maaaring umabot hanggang sa Malacañang ang katiwalian. Itinanggi naman ni Guadiz ang mga alegasyon.
Binawi naman ni Tumbado ang kanyang mga alegasyon ukol sa katiwalian at sinasabi na ito’y “borne out of impulse, irrational thinking, poor decision making, and misjudgment.”
