“No, not at all. You know, Senator Mark has always been with the majority anyways from the very beginning. When we started, kalilipat lang niya sa minority but we had a heart-to-heart discussion with Senator Mark. Gusto niya talagang magtrabaho at gusto niya ng mga committees na pwede siya makatrabaho, makaikot and be a productive member of the Senate,” sabi ni Zubiri.
“So, this for me is just welcoming back a member of the majority once again, and he’s raring to go.
“No, nothing to do whatsoever. You know, being a member of the majority, doesn’t automatically mean that you will vote for conviction or for acquittal? Hindi po ibig sabihin yun. Baka may members kami sa majority, biglang mag-vote for acquittal din,” ani Zubiri.
“At baka may members din ng minority that will vote for conviction. It all has to do with evidence. Evidence presented,” dagdag pa niya.
