Sen. Cynthia Villar, positive sa COVID-19

Nagpositibo sa test sa COVID-19 si Senator Cynthia Villar, ayon kay Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri ngayong Martes.

"We just like to put on record that our distinguished colleague Senator Cynthia Villar has tested positive today for COVID-19. We would like to wish her well and pray for her speedy recovery and for all our members to also be extra careful in this time where COVID is still surging," pahayag ni Zubiri sa kanilang plenary session.

Si Villar ang ikatlong senador na tinamaan ng respiratory disease matapos nina Alan Peter Cayetano at Imee Marcos sa pagsisimula pa lamang ng 19th Congress noong Hulyo 25.

Ipinanalangin ni Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva sina Cayetano, Marcos at Villar para agad na makarekober sa sakit.

Gayunman, ang tatlong mambabatas ay pinayagan na dumalo sa plenary session ngayong Martes sa pamamagitan ng video conference.
