Refund para sa examinees na ‘di nakakuha ng 2022 Bar exams — SC

Inihayag ng Supreme Court ngayong Huwebes na ang mga examinees na hindi nakakuha ng 2022 Bar Examinations dahil sa Severe Tropical Storm Paeng ay maaaring mag-apply ng refund para sa kanilang mga ibinayad o fees.

Sa isang statement, ayon sa Office of the 2022 Bar Chair, maaaring mag-apply ang mga examinees ng refund sa Office of the Bar Confidant sa pamamagitan ng kanilang BAR Plus registered email addresses.

“Far from impervious to the needs and struggles of the examinees who are struggling in the aftermath of STS Paeng, and as the Court fully understands that this may not restore to the affected examinees, it deems it right that examinees who may be unable to take the 2022 Bar Examines as scheduled for the foregoing reason may apply for a refund,” anito.

Maari rin naman na ang mga examinees ay piliing i-apply ang mga bayad nang bar fees para sa September 2023 Bar Examinations.

Sinabi ng Office of the Bar Chair na ang mga exams ay kanilang itutuloy na naka-schedule sa Nobyembre 9, Nobyembre 13, Nobyembre 16, at Nobyembre 20.

Gayundin, ang lahat ng testing centers at local government units (LGUs) na nakasama rito ay nananatiling nakahanda para lumahok sa mga examinations na nakaiskedyul.

Gaganapin ang exams sa 14 na lokasyon, lima rito ay sa National Capital Region (NCR) at tig-3 sa local testing centers sa Luzon, Visayas, at Mindanao.

Samantala anila, ang mga examinees ay maaaring isumite ang kanilang mga tanong o queries hinggil sa refund sa https://bit.ly/2022BarExamHelpDesk. Puwede rin magtanong sa OBC Helpdesk sa telepono (02) 8552-96-90 o (02) 8552-96-42 para sa iba pang concerns.

“The Court recognizes the great odds that lie ahead, made greater for examinees by the passing of recent storms,” saad ng kagawaran.

“The recent tragedies suffered by the nation also betray a certain savagery to this profession — in that we must keep on in the face of devastation, and strive to endure against unprecedented loss. And yet, these odds call truer still the fact that indeed, nothing is lost while courage remains,” dagdag nito.
