Queen Elizabeth nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Nagpositibo sa COVID-19 ang 95-anyos na si Queen Elizabeth ng Britanya at nakararanas ng mild symptoms ngunit patuloy umano ito sa pagsasagawa sa light duties nito, ayon sa Buckingham Palace nitong Linggo.


“The queen has today tested positive for COVID,” pahayag ng Palasyo. “Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week.”


“She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all appropriate guidelines,” ayon pa sa pahayag.



Matatandaang si Prince Charles, ang tagapagmana ng trono, ay nagkaroon ng COVID-19 sa ikalawang pagkakataon nito ring Pebrero. Ayon sa isang source, nagkita umano sila ng reyna ilang araw bago ito magpositibo sa virus.


Naging usap-usapan din ang kalagayan ng kalusugan ni Queen Elizabeth, na siyang ‘world’s oldest and longest-reigning monarch’, matapos nitong maospital noong Oktubre dahil sa hindi binanggit na karamdaman at kalaunan ay pinayuhan ng doktor na magpahinga.


The health of the queen, the world’s oldest and longest-reigning monarch, has been in the spotlight since she spent a night in hospital last October for an unspecified ailment and then was advised by her doctors to rest.
