On July 9, 2025, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), led by General

Manager Melquiades Robles, formally turned over a check amounting to P663,308.28 to

Cebu, representing the province's lotto share from July to December 2024

The donation was received by newly elected Governor Hon. Pamela S. Baricuatro

during a ceremonial event held at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The lotto share provision is under PCSO’s revenue-sharing mandate. Funds were generated through PCSO’s lottery games and a portion of it is allocated to support local government initiatives and public welfare programs.

This turnover underscores PCSO’s commitment to transparency and its role in

channeling gaming proceeds toward meaningful assistance for Filipino communities.
