Pamilya niya, kahit apektado… ENZO, PABOR NA MAWALA ANG POLITICAL DYNASTY SA ‘PINAS

Six years na ang relasyon ni Enzo Pineda at ng girlfriend niyang si Michelle Vito kaya abangers na ang mga fans nila sa kanilang wedding.

Tinanong namin si Enzo regarding this noong nagkaroon kami ng chance na makausap siya sa mediacon ng movie nila na one of the official entries sa 2025 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), ang Bar Boys 2: After School (BB2AS).

Ayon kay Enzo, “Kami naman po ni Michelle, siguro malalaman n’yo na lang po. We are on that stage and at the same time, uhm, pinag-uusapan din namin s’ya (kasal), even life being a married couple.

“Pinag-uusapan na namin ‘yung mga bagay na ganu’n. And for me, it’s all about God’s perfect timing. I pray for it. At the same time, kumbaga, I pray that I could be a good partner to Michelle. A good husband kung magye-yes po s’ya sa akin. And I also pray for, I guess, financial success. Uhm, mainly because I want to have a family with her, put up a house. So more of those things na ang iniisip ko.”

Samantala, muling ginagampanan ni Enzo ang character niya bilang si Atty. Christian Carlson sa BB2AS. Isa siya sa mga original cast ng first Bar Boys (BB).

“I’m one of the OGs sa Bar Boys. I play a lawyer, successful lawyer from New York.

Nagbabalik po ang character ko rito para mag-reunite kami ng barkada. At the same time, to fix my personal issues with my family,” kuwento ni Enzo.

Palabas na ang BB2AS sa December 25. This is the first time na nagkaroon ng movie si Enzo sa MMFF sa loob ng 15 taon niya sa showbiz.

“And definitely, this is a surreal experience for me. Ang tagal ko ring hinintay ito. Bilang artista, dating pinapangarap kong maging parte ng MMFF. After 15 years, finally, I could say I am part of it because of Direk (Kip Oebanda), because of our family,” pahayag ni Enzo.

Hopeful si Enzo na may laban ang pelikula nila pagdating sa awards and box office sa December 25.

“I do believe as an ensemble cast, may laban kami. I do believe that, especially with Ms. Odette Khan, she has a chance to win an award for this project and I hope she does. She deserves it. 

“Sa tagal na po sa industriya ni Ms. Odette Khan, ‘di po s’ya nagbago. Ganoon pa rin s’ya kagaling simula nu’ng Bar Boys 1 hanggang nu’ng Bar Boys 2,” dasal pa ni Enzo.

Samantala, may ibang pananaw si Enzo Pineda sa nais ng direktor na si Kip Oebanda na tanggalin ang political dynasty sa bansa.

Aminado ang aktor na kabilang ang pamilya niya sa tinatawag na political dynasty. Sinubukan din ni Enzo na tumakbo bilang councilor sa Kyusi last election pero hindi siya nagwagi. At the same time, direktor ni Enzo si Kip sa BB2AS.

Sey niya sa aming exclusive interview sa kanya sa mediacon, “Of course, may questions po. S’yempre, part of the Pineda family. Connected po ako du’n and ako naman po, agree po ako ru’n.

“Pero it’s not just for me, dynasty is about paulit-ulit ‘yung same family member na ibinoboto. Pero for me, what’s important is iboto ang karapat-dapat.

“Dynasty does a big part pero what’s important is iboto natin ‘yung taong may puso talaga na tumulong. And for me, this gives more people the opportunity to try public service.

“Uh, ang dami pong nangyayari sa mundo ngayon. Ang daming nangyari sa bansa natin ngayon. So, we need new breed of public servants, new breed of heroes as well. At sana po, itong pelikula naming Bar Boys ay makapagbigay ng boses sa mga taong nangangailangan to step-up and to fight what is right.”

Bida rin sa Bar Boys 2: After School sina Carlo Aquino, Rocco Nacino and Kean Cipriano, kasama ang new generation of stars na sina Will Ashley, Emilio Daez, Therese Malvar, Sassa Gurl, Klarisse de Guzman at Glaiza de Castro.
