P500-M pondo para sa makararanas ng side effects ng COVID vaccine, oks na

Ganap nang batas ang COVID-19 Vaccination Program Act of 2021 matapos na pirmahan ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte upang maipatupad ang vaccination rollout laban sa COVID-19, ayon kay Senator Bong Go.


Nakapaloob sa batas ang P500-million indemnity fund na ilalaan para sa mga indibidwal na makararanas ng masamang epekto matapos na mabakunahan ng COVID-19 vaccine.


Ayon kay Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque, agad nang maisasagawa ang pagbabakuna kontra-coronavirus dahil dito.


"We are confident that the signing of this landmark piece of legislation would expedite the procurement and administration of vaccines for the protection against COVID-19," ani Roque.


"Indeed, we remain committed in our fight against the coronavirus pandemic and we are using necessary means, such as the enactment of this Republic Act, certified urgent by the President, as a way to start our vaccine rollout," dagdag ng kalihim.


Sa ilalim ng batas, ang Department of Health (DOH) at ang National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) ang otorisado na magsagawa ng negosasyon sa pagkuha ng COVID-19 vaccines kabilang na ang mga ancillary supplies at services para sa storage, transport at distribusyon ng bakuna.


Ang indemnity fund ay gagamitin para sa kompensasyon ng mga indibidwal na makararanas ng adverse effects matapos maturukan ng COVID-19 vaccine.
