“No vaxx, no ride” policy violators, nabawasan na — PNP

Malaki ang ibinaba ng bilang ng mga lumabag sa “no vaccine, no ride” policy kumpara noong unang araw ng implementasyon nito, ayon sa Philippine National Police (PNP).

Batay sa datos mula sa Inter Agency Council for Traffic, 8 na lamang ang violators noong Biyernes, Jan. 21, kumpara sa 160 violators noong Jan. 17.

“It’s a good sign that the public is slowly adjusting to the policy. We are observing increased cooperation from the unvaccinated individuals,” ani PNP chief PGen. Dionardo Carlos.

Pinaalalahanan naman ni Carlos na i-exercise ng mga pulis ang maximum tolerance sa mga violators.

“We commend the impressive behavior displayed by our personnel. It was grace under pressure. May we also ask the public not to blame our personnel as they are only fulfilling their mandate,” dagdag ni Carlos.

Samantala, sinabi ni Carlos na pinalalawak din ng PNP ang mga checkpoint upang ma-inspect kung sumusunod ang mga pampublikong sasakyan sa limitasyon sa maximum capacity.
