Umaksiyon na ang kumpanya ng Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) na sinakyan ni Xyriel Manabat sa driver na nangmanyak sa young actress online.

Suspendido na raw ang driver batay sa inilabas na official statement ng Grab.

Nagpaabot na rin ang Grab ng kanilang sincere apology kay Xyriel ‘for the unacceptable experience she had with the driver’.

Ayon pa sa statement ng Grab, “What was reported is deeply concerning and does not reflect the standards we uphold on the platform.

“We are already in direct contact with Ms. Manabat, have offered our full support and ensured her concerns were heard. We are also prepared to cooperate fully with relevant authorities.

“Upon our initial investigation, the driver-partner involved has been placed under preventive suspension.

“Grab affirms that such behavior constitutes a grave violation and is a bannable offense under our Driver Guidelines.

“While all driver-partners on the Grab platform undergo mandatory safe spaces and anti-harassment training through Grab Academy and accredited partner organizations, we recognize that this incident demands more than a restatement of existing protocols.

“We are now undertaking a comprehensive review of our driver behavior training, including those governing post-trip conduct, and will introduce further safeguards to address any gaps this incident may have exposed.”

Sa kabila ng aksiyon ng TNVS company, tila hindi pa rin kuntento ang mga netizens sa suspension ng driver.

Umingay kasi ang isyu matapos kumalat online ang screenshots ng post ng driver.

Makikita sa post ang larawan ni Xyriel Manabat kasama ang driver sa loob ng sasakyan, na may caption na: “Nagulat ako, nagpa-picture sa akin… ang LAKI ng bata na ‘yan,” na isang lewd remark na umani ng matinding backlash mula sa mga netizens.

Ayon kay Xyriel Manabat, pumayag siya na magpa-picture sa driver bago siya bumaba ng sasakyan.

Sa isang interview, inamin ng aktres ang kanyang disappointment at galit sa nangyaring insidente.
