Nagpabakuna, nakatanggap ng regalo sa special vax day sa BARMM – DOH

Nagsagawa ng pagbabakuna laban sa COVID-19 ang Department of Health (DOH) sa mga matatanda at mga bata sa ginanap na Special Vaccination Day sa Bangsamoro Region.
Ayon sa DOH, ang mga nabakunahan ay tumanggap ng mga tokens at gift packs bilang bahagi ng incentivization programs ng BARMM.
“Through this kind of effort, we give the gift of safety and security to our loved ones — especially to our dear senior citizens, children, and those who are immunocompromised,” pahayag ni DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire sa isang statement na inilabas nitong Huwebes ng gabi.
“Let us all be in one spirit for the protection of the Filipino nation, so that we can finally live safe and comforting lives,” dagdag niya.
Sa hiwalay na statement, ayon sa DOH nagbigay din si Vergeire ng courtesy call kay BARMM Chief Minister Ahod Ebrahim.
Humiling din si Vergeire ng tulong sa rehiyon para sa PinasLakas campaign na nakatakdang ilunsad sa Hulyo 26.
“We will need your support to provide vaccines to the different settings in the region -- our schools, markets, offices, and the community,” saad ni Vergeire.
Sa datos ng DOH makikitang nasa 1,584,124 o 51.05% ng target population sa BARMM ay fully vaccinated na kontra COVID-19 nitong Hulyo 21.
Habang nasa 163,308 o 5.26% ng target population naman ang nakatanggap ng booster doses.
Samantala, sa buong bansa ay may kabuuang 71,439,759 o 91.47% ng target population ang fully vaccinated na, 15,797,385 o 20.23% ang nakatanggap ng kanilang unang booster shots, habang 1,146,735 o 1.47% ang nakakuha ng kanilang ikalawang booster shots.
