Kinumpirma ng House prosecution na kabilang si “Mary Grace Piattos” sa kanilang witness list sa impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte na sisimulan sa Hulyo 6.


Sinabi ni House Prosecutor Terry Ridon na mahalaga ang papel ni Piattos sa pagtestigo sa impeachment court bilang magsisilbing "smoking gun" kung tama o mali ang naging paggamit ng confidential funds sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni VP Duterte sa Office of the Vice President at ng Department of Education.


“[Mary Grace Piattos will be presented as witness] to testify on their alleged receipt of confidential funds,” saad sa pre-trial brief.


Unang naging prominente ang pangalang Mary Grace Piattos sa pagsisiyasat ng House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability noong 2024 tungkol sa paggamit ng pondo ng OVP at DepEd.
