Hello, Bulgarians! Sinabi ni Social Security System (SSS) President at CEO Michael G. Regino na ang coverage ng mandatory online na pag-file ng retirement benefit claims sa pamamagitan ng My.SSS Portal ay pinalawig sa mga self-employed na miyembro na 60 hanggang 64 taong gulang mula Hulyo 1, 2022.
Ito ay karagdagan sa lahat ng empleyado, voluntary, land-based Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) at self-employed na miyembro na may edad 65 pataas sa oras ng pagreretiro na kinakailangang mag-file online mula Hulyo 2020.
“As early as 2015, we have made this online facility available to our members who have reached their technical retirement age of 65 years old. With the onset of the pandemic, we have continuously enhanced this online facility to provide our members with a simpler and more convenient mode of application without physically going to our branches. All they need to do is to access their My.SSS account, click Apply for Retirement Benefit under the Benefits section of the E-Services tab, fill out the required information, and submit the required supporting documents,” pahayag ni Regino.
Ang mga miyembro na may special cases sa retirement benefit claims ay dapat pa ring mag-file manually sa alinmang branch ng SSS o foreign representative office:
Mayroong natitirang Stock Investment Loan Program (SILP)/Privatization Loan Program/Educational Loan/Vocational Technology Loan balance;
May dependent child/mga bata sa ilalim ng npangangalaga;
Kung saan ang miyembro ay walang kakayahan, under guardianship o naka-confine sa isang institusyon, tulad ng kulungan o rehabilitation center;
Mayroong Application of Portability Law or Bilateral Social Security Agreements;
May adjustment o for re-adjudication of claim; at
Hindi nakuhang benefit ng namatay na miyembro.
Ang retirement benefits ay cash benefit na ipinagkaloob sa miyembro na hindi na makakapagtrabaho dahil sa katandaan at umabot na sa itinakdang edad ng pagreretiro. Ito ay maaaring buwanang pensyon para sa mga nagbayad ng hindi bababa sa 120-buwanang kontribusyon bago ang semestre ng pagreretiro o lump sum para sa mga nagbayad ng mas mababa sa 120 kontribusyon.
Maaaring ma-access ang qualifying conditions para sa retirement benefit program sa https://crms.sss.gov.ph habang ang mga guidelines at patakaran sa online filing ng nasabing benefit claim sa pamamagitan ng My.SSS Portal ay makikita sa https:// bit.ly/SSSCI2021-021.
