Listahan ng certified na mga paputok, inilabas ng DTI

Naglabas ang Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) ngayong Biyernes ng listahan ng mga certified na mga fireworks at firecrackers na maaaring pagbasehan ng mga konsyumer para gamitin, habang papalapit na ang bisperas ng Bagong Taon.

Sa isang statement, pinayuhan ng DTI ang publiko na bumili lamang ng mga fireworks at firecrackers o paputok na manufactured locally na mayroon Philippine Standard (PS) mark para garantisadong ligtas at de-kalidad.

“The purchase and use of uncertified fireworks and firecrackers may result to damage to properties and cause fatalities. Hence, the DTI is here to remind all consumers to only buy and support certified fireworks produced by licensed and authorized manufacturers with Philippine Standard (PS) License,” pahayag ni DTI-Consumer Protection Group Undersecretary Ruth Castelo.

Ayon sa DTI, ang naturang listahan ay naglalaman lamang ng mga PS-Licensed companies, kung saan batay sa Republic Act (RA) No. 7183 o ang Law on Pyrotechnic Devices, ipinagbabawal ang importasyon ng mga finished firecrackers at fireworks.
