Letter writing contest ng PHLPost Office at UPU, 9-15 yrs. old, join na!

Hello, Bulgarians! Naglunsad ang Philippine Post Office (PHLPost) at Universal Postal Union (UPU), sa pamamagitan ng International Bureau, upang imbitahan ang mga kabataan edad 9 hanggang 15 na sumali sa “51st International Letter Writing Competition for Young People”, upang mapalakas ang kaalaman at kasanayan sa pagsusulat o art ng letter-writing.

Sa pakikipagtulungan ng Kagawaran ng Edukasyon (DepEd), inaanyayahan ang mga mag-aaral mula public at private schools sa buong bansa na gumawa o sumulat ng isang liham base sa tema na: “Write a letter to an influential person about why and how to take action on climate change”.

"The contest is designed to develop the young people's skills in composition and the ability to express their thoughts clearly, to foster their enjoyment of letter-writing and to help strengthen the bonds of international friendship – one of the basic missions of the UPU."

Kailangang orihinal na sulat-kamay sa lenggwaheng Ingles, walang bura ang komposisyon na hindi lalagpas ng 800 salita.

“On a separate sheet of paper, the participant must indicate the number of words of the letter composition, complete name and address, gender, age and date of birth, name of school and address, grade level, contact numbers ng participant at school, litrato na 2×2 colored digital ID (300 dpi minimum) must be attached.”

Ang mananalo ay tatanggap ng P25,000 at magiging kalahok sa UPU International Letter Writing Competition na gaganapin sa Switzerland.

Habang ang 2nd prize winner ay tatanggap ng P15,000 at P10,000 sa ikatlo.

Ang lahat ng nagwagi ay makakatanggap ng medalya at presentation frame.

Ang mga lahok ay dapat ilagay sa brown envelope at ipadala sa pamamagitan lamang ng Post Office Domestic Express Mail Service (DEMS) – UPU 51st International Letter Writing Competition for Young People (2022), Post Shop, Philately and Museum Division, Philippine Postal Corporation, 3/F Manila Central Post Office Building, Magallanes Drive Liwasang Bonifacio, Barangay 659-A, Ermita 1000 Manila. Ang lahat ng ipapadala via private couriers ay diskwalipikado.

Ang mga lahok ay huhusgahan sa kanyang Composition (30 percent), imagination and originality of the contents (20 percent), demonstrates a good style of writing and communication (20 percent), demonstrates an extensive vocabulary (20 percent), at youthfulness of the tone (10 percent).

Ang deadline ng pagsusumite ng mga lahok ay hanggang Abril 25, 2022, at ang final winner ay malalaman sa Mayo 2, 2022.
