Kasunduan para sa online payment ng customs duties at taxes sa Post Office isinagawa!

Hello, Bulgarians! Nagkasundo ang Philippine Postal Corporation (Post Office) at Bureau of Customs (BOC) sa isinagawang Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) na gawing online (www.phlpost.gov.ph.) na ang pagbabayad ng customs duties and taxes sa post office.

Layunin ng naturang kasunduan na gawing episyente, hassle free at mapagkakatiwalaan ang pagbabayad ng buwis at maiwasan, kung hindi man ay mabawasan ang korapsyon alinsunod sa Republic Act No. 11032 o mas kilala na “Ease of Doing Business at Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018”.

Ayon sa Post Office, “Ang paghahatid at paglilinis ng mga packages o parsela at mga mail matters ay magiging madali, mabilis at simple, at inaasahan na mapapakinabangan ng mga kostumer at mamimili na nagpapadala sa mga sangay ng post office at sa ibang bansa, upang lalong maisulong ang industriya ng “e-commerce” na inaasahang malaki ang maiaambag sa pag-unlad ng bansa.

Pinangunahan nina Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio at Bureau of Customs Commissioner Rey Leonardo Guerrero ang pirmahan ng kasunduan kasabay ng isinagawang pagdiriwang sa ika-125 taong Anibersaryo ng tanggapan ng Pananalapi (Department of Finance).

“For the first time, in the 75 years of being a Republic, the Post Office Digital Innovation will enhance the competitiveness of the post office in the local and International market”, ayon kay Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio.

Ayon pa sa kanya, “It is important for the public to understand that all mails and parcels may be subject to customs examination, duties, taxes and other fees”.

“This Duterte Legacy signifies the commitment and support of the Post Office especially under the new administration of President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. in serving the public who deserve no less than the best postal service by global standards”, dagdag pa ni Fulgencio.

Unang isinagawa ng PHLPost ang paglulunsad ng programa sa pagbabayad ng customs duties and taxes sa pamamagitan ng Post Office website at mobile application noong nakaraang May 19, 2022 sa pagbisita ng dating Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa Post Office.
