May bago nang pangulo ang USA matapos talunin ng 77-anyos na democrat na si Joe Biden si Donald Trump nitong nagdaang national elections sa Amerika.

Ikinabigla ito hindi lang ng mga taga-US kundi maging ng ibang nasyon, ayon sa US media kahapon.

Inanunsiyo ng mga networks na CBS, NBC at CNN News ang resulta bago mag-11:30 a.m. (1630 GMT) sa hindi matatawarang pangunguna sa Pennsylvania ni Biden, sa pinakamataas na posisyon sa state-by-state na bilangan para sa pagka-pangulo ng Amerika.

"America, I'm honored that you have chosen me to lead our great country," ayon sa pahayag ni Biden.

"The work ahead of us will be hard, but I promise you this: I will be a president for all Americans — whether you voted for me or not. I will keep the faith that you have placed in me," sabi pa ni Biden.

Agad namang sinagot ni Trump ang anunsiyong ito kung saan pinaratangan niya si Biden sa maling pagdedeklara sa sarili bilang susunod na presidente.

"We all know why Joe Biden is rushing to falsely pose as the winner, and why his media allies are trying so hard to help him: they don't want the truth to be exposed," ayon kay Trump sa isang statement.

"The simple fact is this election is far from over," sabi ni Trump.

Samantala, maraming lider ng mga bansa ang nagpahayag ng kanilang saloobin sa pagkapanalo ni Biden bilang pangulo ng Amerika.

"On behalf of the Government of Canada, I congratulate Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on their election as the next President and Vice President of the United States of America. Canada and the United States enjoy an extraordinary relationship – one that is unique on the world stage," sabi ni Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. "I look forward to working with President-elect Biden, Vice President-elect Harris, their administration, and the United States Congress as we tackle the world’s greatest challenges together.”

"I look forward to future cooperation with President Biden. Our transatlantic friendship is irreplaceable if we are to master the great challenges of our time," ani German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

"Congratulations to Joe Biden on his election as President of the United States and to Kamala Harris on her historic achievement. The US is our most important ally and I look forward to working closely together on our shared priorities, from climate change to trade and security," sabi ni British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

"The Americans have chosen their President. Congratulations @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris! We have a lot to do to overcome today's challenges. Let's work together!" ayon naman kay French President Emmanuel Macron.

"I offer warmest congratulations to Joe Biden on his election as the 46th President of the United States. Ireland takes pride in Joe Biden's election, just as we are proud of all the generations of Irish women and Irish men and their ancestors whose toil and genius have enriched the diversity that powers America," pahayag ni Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin.

"Joe Biden has always been a stalwart friend and supporter of Ireland, including of the prosperity, stability and opportunity made possible by the Good Friday Agreement, to which he has pledged his ongoing steadfast support," dagdag nito.

"The American people have chosen the 46th President of the United States. Congratulations @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris. We wish you good luck and all the best. We are looking forward to cooperating with you to tackle the challenges ahead of us," sabi ni Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

"Congratulations to US President-elect @JoeBiden. Joe Biden has been a true friend of Greece and I'm certain that under his presidency the relationship between our countries will grow even stronger," ayon naman kay Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
