Inflation rate, tumaas sa 7.8%

Tumaas ng 7.8 porsiyento ang inflation rate sa Pilipinas nitong nakaraang Oktubre, mas mataas dahil sa mabilis na paglobo ng gastos sa transportasyon at presyo ng mga utility o pangunahing serbisyo.

Tumaas ng 7.8 porsiyento ang inflation rate sa Pilipinas nitong nakaraang Oktubre, mas mataas dahil sa mabilis na paglobo ng gastos sa transportasyon at presyo ng mga utility o pangunahing serbisyo.


Mas mataas ito kumpara sa 7.2 porsiyentong inflation noong Setyembre, batay sa datos ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).


Lumampas din ang naturang inflation rate sa 7.6 porsiyentong median estimate ng 19 ekonomista.


Gayunman, pasok pa rin ito sa forecast range ng Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) na 7.1 hanggang 8.1 porsiyento para sa Oktubre.


Sa kabila nito, nananatiling mas mataas ang inflation rate kaysa sa 3 porsiyentong target ng BSP.
