Ikinatuwa ng ilang kongresista ang pagkakaaresto ni dating Cong. Zaldy Co sa Prague, Czech Republic nitong Huwebes, Abril 16.


Ayon kay Akbayan Partylist Rep. Chel Diokno, ito na ang pagkakataon ni Co na ihain ang kanyang panig kaugnay ng 2025 budget at flood control anomalies.


Samantala, ipinanawagan naman nina Mamamayang Liberal Partylist Rep. Leila de Lima at Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco ang mahigpit na pakikipag-ugnayan ng Pilipinas sa Czech Republic para sa mabilisang pagpapauwi sa dating mambabatas.
