DILG Secretary Abalos, positibo sa COVID-19

Nagpositibo sa test sa COVID-19 si Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos.

“I am currently at home in isolation and working remotely while strictly following recommended protocols, including health and safety procedures,” ani Abalos sa isang statement ngayong Lunes.

“I am grateful to have been fully vaccinated with booster. I am asymptomatic and feeling well as of the moment,” dagdag niya.

Ayon kay Abalos, sumailalim siya sa COVID-19 testing bilang requirement para sa kanyang nakaiskedyul na meeting na dadaluhan sa Malacañang ngayong Lunes.

Lumabas ang resulta ng test ng kalihim ng alas-9:12 ng gabi nitong Linggo.

Nagbigay naman si Abalos ng direktiba sa Philippine National Police (PNP) na magsagawa ng contact tracing para ipaalam sa kanyang mga naging direct contacts, kabilang na ang mga dumalo sa press conference sa Camp Crame nitong Linggo na nakasama niya.

“I am also humbly appealing to everyone who I came across over the past two days to monitor yourselves for COVID-19 symptoms and promptly get tested and isolate away from others once symptoms develop,” saad pa ni Abalos.
