“Movement became my safe space. My release. My stress reliever. My reset.

“I didn’t start working out to chase a certain body. I started because I wanted to feel strong, healthy, and good in my own skin,” simula ni Gabbi.

“I was diagnosed with PCOS back in 2018. It’s something I’ve kept to myself for a while. But about three years ago, I finally pushed myself to move, to show up for my body and take care of it instead of fighting it,” pagtatapat ng Kapuso actress.

“Yes, mabilis din akong tumaba. Minsan mataba ako sa TV. Oo, nakikita ko kahit todo-workout na ako. Minsan naman okay ako kung ‘di bloated. But yes, there are a lot of days when I feel bloated, days with a moon face, the PCOS belly, and everything else that comes with it,” patuloy niya.

Pero natutunan na rin daw niya itong tanggapin at dedma na sa pagiging sexy.

“And now, I’m at a point kung saan basta strong and healthy ako, okay na ako. Kaya kong tumakbo. Kaya kong magbuhat. Kaya ko ang sarili ko. Being sexy the way society defines it is honestly the least of my priorities,” aniya.

Saad pa niya, “This journey taught me body positivity in the truest sense, to be kinder to my body, to listen to it, and to appreciate everything it allows me to do. Not perfect. Just better. I’m still learning. Still showing up.”

Payo niya sa mga taong may pinagdaraanan din sa kalusugan na katulad niya, “If this is your journey too, be kinder to yourself. You’re not alone.”
