Nagbigay ng mensahe para sa mga Pilipino si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte bago lumapag sa Rotterdam The Hague airport sa Netherlands ang sinasakyang eroplano upang dalhin siya sa International Criminal Court (ICC) at doon idetine habang dinidinig ang paratang laban sa kanya na crimes against humanity.

Sa video message na naka-post sa Rody Duterte Facebook page, inaasahan ng dating Pangulo na mahabang legal proceeding ang kanyang kakaharapin.

"To my countrymen, just to give you the current situation, I am about to land in The Hague. Galing ako Dubai, stopover... It's a long haul, it's a long flight. Okay ako. Do not worry," wika ni Duterte. 

“I am the one who led our law enforcement and military. I said  that I will protect you, and I will be responsible for all of this.” 

“I have been telling the police, the military, that it was my job and I am responsible,” sabi pa niya. 

"This will be a long legal proceeding but I say to you I will continue to serve my country at so be it, kung ganoon ang destiny ko. Salamat," dagdag pa ni Duterte.
