Tinanggal ng House Quad Committee (QuadComm) nitong Martes ang contempt at detention order laban kay dating Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) chief Wilkins Villanueva.


Ito ay matapos aprubahan ng QuadComm ang mosyon ni Abang Lingkod party-list Rep. Stephen Paduano na alisin ang contempt order, kasunod ng motion for reconsideration na inihain ni Villanueva.


“I was the one who moved to cite ex-General Wilkins in contempt and I appreciate his gesture of seeking a reconsideration, unlike Colonel Grijaldo, who resorted to forum shopping,” saad ni Paduano.


Giit ni Paduano, nangako si Villanueva na magiging ganap na tapat ito sa pagsagot ng lahat ng tanong mula sa mga miyembro ng QuadComm.
