Engaged na pala nang siyam na buwan na sina Carlos Yulo at Chloe San Jose bago nila ito ibinahagi sa publiko sa pamamagitan ng kanilang social media accounts.

Noong Disyembre 18, 2025 pa pala hiningi ni Carlos ang matamis na “Yes” ni Chloe at ginanap ito sa The Hillside, Tagaytay Highlands na talagang pinaghandaan ng 2024 Paris Olympic Games at 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games at Floor Exercise Gold medalist na si Carlos.

Ang caption ni Chloe sa mga larawan ng engagement: “Our little secret since December 18, 2025 (white heart and ring emojis).

“For 9 months, we’ve been treasuring this beautiful secret between us, quietly smiling to ourselves and taking our time to cherish it, knowing that one day we’d finally share it with the world.

“It started with a simple, ‘Hi, I’m a fan po.’ Neither of us could have known where that little message would take us.

“And from there, life became a collection of airports, competitions, hotel rooms, long training days, little adventures, big dreams, and countless moments in between.

“I got to watch you chase your dreams, and you let me be beside you through the biggest moments of your life.

“We grew up together. We learned together. We fought for each other, protected each other, supported each other, and built a life of our own.

“Through everything, God has continued to guide us, protect us, and give us the strength to keep going.

“And looking back now, I’m grateful even for the chapters that weren’t easy, because they brought us here.

“Mahal ko, I would choose you in every lifetime. And now, we get to choose each other for the rest of this one.

Ang kilalang international event stylist na si Gideon Hermosa ang nagdisenyo ng venue at inilarawan niya ang bawat detalye ng napakagandang proposal ni Caloy sa kanyang Chloe.

Aniya, “The Candle Wall. Tiers built around one spot, curved rows of pillar candles, flanked by hydrangeas and roses in pink, peach, lavender, blue. He (Carlos) knelt at its center.

“The Question. The only red of the night we lit the hillside in soft gold. Candles, blooms, string lights. One line in red, and nothing else competed with it.

“The Pathway. A walk worth slowing down for, candles and single blooms planted into the grass on both sides. We wanted the walk to feel as considered as the moment at the end of it.”

Pahayag pa ni Gideon, “Not all the work we do is ours to share. 

“On December 18, 2025, @c_edrielzxs asked @chloeanjeleigh to marry him on a hillside, filled with candlelight. Soft gold on every tier, every step, every stem. And one line in red, because the question deserved its own color.

“For nine months, it stayed between the two of them. So it stayed with us too. I understand why they held it close. Some love doesn’t need an audience first.
