Banyaga at ‘di OFWs, bawal pumasok sa 'Pinas

Pansamantalang ipagbabawal ng pamahalaan ang pagpasok sa bansa ng mga foreign national at balikbayan na hindi overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) simula sa Sabado, March 20, hanggang April 19 dahil sa patuloy na pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19.


Pahayag ng National Task Force Against COVID-19 (NTF) sa Memorandum Circular No. 5, s. 2021, “In light of efforts to prevent the entry of SARS-CoV-2 variants from other countries and the further rise of cases, all concerned agencies are hereby directed to limit the number of inbound international passengers/arrivals to only One Thousand Five Hundred (1,500) a day and to temporarily suspend the entry of Foreign Nationals and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) who are non-OFWs.”


Samantala, exempted diumano sa naturang kautusan ang sumusunod:

• Holders of 9(c) visas;

• Medical repatriation and their escort/s duly endorsed by the DFA-OUMWA or OWWA;

• Distressed ROFs duly endorsed by DFA-OUMWA; at

• Emergency, humanitarian, and other analogous cases approved by the NTF-COVID-19.
