Ayaw lang daw ipakita sa mga anak… KRIS, TODO-IYAK PA RIN SA SAKIT NG MGA BUTO

Emosyonal na nagbahagi ng mensahe ang aktres-TV host na si Kris Aquino bilang paggunita sa ika-17 anibersaryo ng pagpanaw ng kanyang inang si dating Pangulong Corazon Aquino.

Ayon kay Kris, “17 years ago at 2 AM, we lost our mom. We accepted her death intellectually because we witnessed how much she suffered. But can someone you cherished ever be forgotten? Until now, when I watch families in conflict, I say, ‘Sorry, Mom. You never deserved any of that.’”

Ibinahagi rin ni Kris na agad umalis ang kanyang anak na si Bimby matapos ang 47th anniversary celebration ng Eat… Bulaga! nang matapos magpasalamat ang TVJ.

Aniya, “Bimb left the 47th anniversary celebration immediately after TVJ said their THANK YOUs because I was actually in the car from the time he tried to sing Vic Sotto’s Ipagpatawad Mo. (We are very honest. I love Bimb’s Maybe This Time, Pangako Sa ‘Yo made me cry because of the innocent emotions Bimb gave the song.) Kuya went to Manila Memorial, and Bimb went home to watch over me because I again tried another form of treatment which has worked for some international celebrities as well as a few friends.

“I promised my sons I was going to fight until the end. I have never given details about the treatments that failed, the nights I cried until sunrise because the bones from 3 inches above my knee all the way to my ankle and up to the soles of my feet hurt with such cruelty that I broke my rule and sobbed in Bimb’s arms. No child, especially one raised by a single parent, should ever see the pain their mama or papa goes through because to worry is ours and not theirs.

“Just last week, Kuya Josh was told by my nurses to let me sleep because I hadn’t slept well for over 3 nights. I could hear Kuya saying, ‘Fast only, say hello to Mama only.’ I buried my head further under the comforter, not wanting him to see how much tissue I wasn’t fast enough to hide. Kuya saw my tear-streaked face. He pleaded, ‘Mama, please don’t cry. I love you. I’ll make you bantay. Mama, here’s my arm.’ Kuya knew being cradled in his left arm and lying down where I can almost hear his heartbeat is a source of comfort that gives me hope and reminds me just for whom I continue to fight. The next infusion is on Wednesday.

“Mom, please continue looking after your baby because I have 6’3 and 6’2 giant babies who pray every day and believe that God does answer prayers.”

Mag-asawa, sabay pang maysakit…

DOC WILLIE, MAY STAGE 4 SARCOMA, DOC LIZA, BREAST CANCER NAMAN

Ibinahagi ng media personality na si Doc Willie Ong sa kanyang social media account ang mensahe ng journalist na si Cheryl Cosim para sa kanya at sa kanyang misis na si Doc. Liza Ong.

Ayon kay Doc Willie, nagpaabot si Cheryl ng suporta at panalangin sa kanilang dalawa.

Ani Cheryl, “Doc Willie and Doc Liza, you are both in my heart and prayers.

“Knowing what you’re both going through now brings me back to our ‘Salamat Dok’ days, especially our medical missions. ‘Di ko makakalimutan kung gaano kalaki ang puso ninyo para sa mga pasyenteng walang kakayahang magpagamot. Ang dami nating natulungan dahil sa malasakit at serbisyo ninyong dalawa.

“Kaya masakit isipin na ngayon, kayong buong buhay na tumutulong at nagpapagaling ng iba, ang humaharap sa sarili ninyong laban.

“Maraming salamat for being such a meaningful part of my ‘Salamat Dok’ journey. I’m praying for your healing, strength and peace. May God continue to carry you both through this.

“Love you both. I’m here for you and will keep praying and believing with you.”

Ilang araw pa lang ang nakararaan ay lumabas ang balitang hindi lang si Doc Willie ang kasalukuyang lumalaban sa Stage 4 sarcoma kundi maging ang misis niyang si Doc Liza na may breast cancer naman.
