Arnell Ignacio, bagong OWWA administrator – P-BBM

Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. si Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) Deputy Administrator Arnell Ignacio bilang bagong administrator ng ahensiya.
Papalitan ni Ignacio, na ang tunay na pangalan ay Arnaldo Arevalo Ignacio, si dating OWWA administrator Hans Leo Cacdac, batay kay Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.
Sa isang hiwalay na report, ayon kay Ignacio sina Mary Melanie Quiño at Emma Sinclair ang na-appoint naman na OWWA deputy administrators.
Si Quiño ang papalit kay Ignacio sa puwesto habang si Sinclair ang papalit naman kay Ryan Vincent Uy.
Base rin sa report, si Ignacio ay nagpositibo sa test sa COVID-19 at kasalukuyang sumailalim sa home isolation.
Unang nagsilbi si Ignacio sa OWWA sa panahon ng Duterte administration.
Samantala, sa hiwalay na statement mula kay Cruz-Angeles, si Cacdac ay magsisilbi bilang Department of Migrant Workers’ (DMW) Undersecretary on Welfare and Foreign Employment.
Habang si Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Bernard Olalia ang magiging Undersecretary for Licensing and Adjudication.
“He will be the OIC of POEA until such time that the department is deemed fully constituted on the approval of the 2023 budget,” pahayag ni Cruz-Angeles.
Sinabi pa ni Cruz-Angeles na si Venecio Legaspi, dating overseas Filipino worker, ang na-appoint bilang Assistant Secretary for Reintegration.
Sa isang news release, nangako naman si DMW Secretary Susan Ople kasama ng mga nasabing appointees aniya, “[the agency would make a] secure home for our OFWs and their families.”
“This mix of familiar faces and new names reflects our desire for continuity and innovation.
The DMW's 'dream team' is now in place, and we vow to serve our OFWs faithfully and with utmost professionalism,” saad ni Ople.
