Love wins para kina Bea Alonzo at Vincent Co!

Natuloy na rin finally ang controversial na wedding of the year.

Gaya ng titulo ng pelikula ni Bea with John Lloyd Cruz, may pa-A Second Chance ang aktres sa kanyang ex-fiancé.

Happy na for sure ang mga fans ni Bea na ipinaglaban ni Vincent ang pagmamahal niya sa aktres, na siya naman daw dapat ginawa ng Chinese businessman noong una pa mang kumalat ang balitang naudlot ang kanilang kasal dahil sa mga magulang ng lalaki.

But how true na galit diumano ang parents ni Vincent sa pasabog na wedding nila ni Bea last Monday, July 13?

Tsika ng aming source, pagkatapos ng wedding ng controversial couple, that same day ay ipinapatanggal diumano ang video ng pag-attend ni Vincent sa event ng family business nila na kumalat online.

Sa naturang video, makikita si Vincent na dumating sa event at pumunta sa kanyang seat sa venue. Pero bago siya umupo ay marami ang bumati sa kanya.

May nag-utos daw sa mga employees na burahin ang video kung saan nandu’n si Vincent.

MATAGUMPAY ang paglulunsad sa bagong singer na si Honey Love Johnson. Dalawang singles niya agad ang ibinida sa kanyang launching, ang Wait Lang at Goodbye For Now.

Released under Star Music, ipinakita ni Honey Love sa dalawang original songs niya ang kanyang versatility.

Ayon kay Honey Love, “I felt really excited to record the songs, shoot the music videos and finally see everything come together. It took a lot of work and progress, but I really love how everything turned out. I’m just very happy about it.”

Ang direktor-songwriter na si Perry Escaño ang nag-compose ng Goodbye For Now mula sa kanyang personal experience during the pandemic. May close friend si Direk Perry na namatay.

Pahayag ni Direk Perry sa launching ni Honey Love, “I actually came up with the concept during the pandemic when a very close friend of mine passed away. We shared so many memories together, and that’s when I started writing Goodbye For Now. I kept developing the lyrics and asked my friend, arranger Peter Soria, to help bring the song to life.”

Naisip din ni Direk Perry na it's time na magkaroon ng graduation theme song ang generation now. Hoping si Direk Perry na gamitin ng mga eskuwelahan ang kanta ni Honey Love na Goodbye For Now during graduation ceremonies.

May music video na rin ito kung saan naisama ang isyu ukol sa bullying na isa sa mga napapanahong pangyayari sa ilang eskuwelahan sa ating bansa.

Samantala, Wait Lang offers a completely different sound. Ini-reveal ni Direk Perry na inspired sa naging usapan nila ng ina ni Honey Love ang kanta.

“Tumawag ‘yung mommy n’ya sa akin. Sabi n’ya, ‘Why don’t we create a song about mothers and daughters?’ She shared that whenever children are asked to do something, the usual response is, ‘Wait lang, wait lang,’ because they’re busy with social media or playing games. That’s where the idea started,” lahad niya.

Para mas appealing sa mga batang listeners, sadyang in-experiment niya ang tunog ng Wait Lang with a faster musical style.

“Gusto ng new generation ngayon fast-paced music with rap and hip-hop influences. I wanted to challenge myself and create something different while still delivering a meaningful message,” diin niya.

Sakto naman dahil gusto ni Honey Love ang mag-rap.

“I love rapping, but sometimes it’s hard to keep up with all the words. At the same time, I also love singing because I’m an alto. I honestly enjoy doing both, but I naturally lean toward slower, calmer R&B songs because that’s where I feel most comfortable,” sabi ni Honey Love.

Ang collaboration between Johnson and Escaño ay nagsimula after she joined one of his acting workshops in 2023. Nakita raw agad ni Direk Perry ang potensiyal ni Honey Love not only in acting but also in singing.

Since then, they have continued developing her musical identity through training and original recordings.

Ang Goodbye For Now at Wait Lang ay available na sa streaming platforms gaya ng Star Music’s YouTube (YT) channel, Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Deezer, at iba pang major digital music platforms.
