Makaraang tanggihan ang pagpasok sa professional league sa Pilipinas ay masisilayang muli sa Alas Pilipinas women’s national volleyball team si Alyssa Solomon para tulungan ang kampanya ng bansa katuwang sina 3-time collegiate at pro MVP Alyssa Valdez, Ces Molina at Jovelyn Gonzaga sa Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Women’s Cup simula ngayon kontra Uzbekistan sa Candon City Arena sa Ilocos Sur.

Naihabol sa pinal na 14-listahan ang 6-foot-1 opposite hitter mula sa orihinal na 20-women’s lineup na asam na mahigitan ang 3rd at 2nd place finish sa nagdaang dalawang torneo na pinagrereynahan ng SEA Games powerhouse na Vietnam, kung saan karamihan sa mga naglaro sa nagdaang 33^rd SEA Games sa Bangkok, Thailand noong Disyembre ay hindi maglalaro.

Kabilang sa national squad sa Candon City kontra Uzbekistan ng 3 p.m. sina Royse Tubino at Ara Galang, Tots Carlos, Kyle Negrito at Kyla Atienza; Alyssa Eroa, Thea Gagate at No.3 overall pick Tin Ubaldo at  Clarisse Loresco.  

Magsisilbing reserves sina Clo Mondoñedo at collegiate players na sina Lara Mae Silva at Natalie Estreller, Jaz Ellarina at Lhouriz Tuddao habang inatras sa listahan si Season MVP Trisha Tubu na gagabayan nina coaches Shaq Delos Santos at Sherwin Meneses.

Nagsagawa ng welcome dinner si alkalde Eric Singson para sa hosting ng torneo, kasama sina Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) chairman Patrick “Pató” Gregorio, maging sina AVC President Ramon “Tats” Suzara.
