BELA, UMAMING KANI-KANYA SILA NI ROBIN PAGDATING SA PULITIKA

Nagulat ang aktres na si Bela Padilla sa tanong ng isang netizen sa kanya kung siya ba ang dahilan kung bakit kasama na si Sen. Robin Padilla sa programang Blood vs. Duty (BVD).

Hindi kasi nagustuhan ng mga netizens ang pagboto niya para mapatalsik si dating Senate President (SP) Tito Sotto at mapalitan ni Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano.

Bukod dito ay galit ang mga netizens sa pagkanlong ng senador sa kapwa niya senador na si Ronald ‘Bato’ dela Rosa na may arrest warrant diumano mula sa International Criminal Court o ICC dahil kasama raw siya sa pagtakas ng huli.

Hindi ba’t pinayuhan pa ni Sen. Robin si Sen. Bato na magtago at huwag lumabas para makaiwas sa arrest warrant?

Pero dahil kailangan ng boto ni APC (Alan Peter Cayetano), kaya lumitaw si Bato sa Senado at naging hysterical nang kuwestiyunin siya kung bakit bigla siyang lumitaw pagkalipas ng anim na buwang pagtatago.

Gigil si Bela nang sagutin niya ang netizen na ang tanong ay, “Yay! For you speaking up about Bato’s case pero why are you silent about your incompetent tito (Robin) na isinama mo pa sa project mo?”

Sagot ng aktres, “Sorry, but what? I’m also assigned projects too. I was cast in this project in December. My uncle was added on recently. I have no power whatsoever in casting decisions.

“‘Di nga ako ang pinakamalaking mukha sa poster. I don’t see anyone else from the cast being asked here. Has he added me in any of his films/shows previously? Get your facts straight. We work and are managed separately.”

Ipinaliwanag ng aktres na kahit magkamag-anak sila ni Sen. Robin Padilla ay hindi nangangahulugang pareho sila ng paniniwala pagdating sa pulitika.

Pahayag ng aktres, “Because of recent events, and since I’m being asked daily, I wish to express my thoughts on the issue surrounding the casting of my uncle in Blood vs. Duty, and the current situation hounding the Senate.

“Growing up, my Tito Robin was kind to me and my family. I will be forever grateful for this. But as our careers flourished and took different directions, with him entering politics, our personal encounters have become scarcer.

“Our ideologies also differed. I do not live close to my uncle. I haven’t seen Tito Robin until we shared the same call time last Friday. Before then, I saw him 3 years ago. My uncle being cast in the show was neither because of my influence nor my being part of the cast.

“I was cast in December. He is a recent addition to the show. This decision is purely the prerogative of the executive and supervising producers of the show. My uncle’s political affiliation has nothing to do with my personal beliefs and convictions.

“We are related but we manage to agree to disagree. I remain grateful to his kindness, but I also maintain an independent and personal sense of being in charge of my career, choices and convictions.”

Samantala, kahapon ay nag-tweet si Jesus Falcis ng, “Dear Robin Padilla, why were you spotted at NAIA (Ninoy Aquino International Airport) Terminal 3 in the VIP area around 4:10 AM? They say you logged out at 2:35 AM at the Senate. They say you were with Bato dela Rosa.”

May nagsabing patungong Davao ang flight ni Bato kaya tiyak na uuwi ito sa bahay niya kung saan kasama ang pamilya.

Papasukin na rin ng promising Filipino kart racer na si Arion Crosby ang showbiz.

Matagal na pala siyang inuudyukan ng kanyang inang Filipina at mixed martial artist na si Gemmalyn Crosby na mag-artista. Pero bata pa ay exposed na sa media si Arion dahil lagi siyang kasama ng ina sa mga mediacon nito tungkol sa pagiging champion nito sa sports.

Sikat si Arion sa industriya niya dahil champion siya sa kart racing. He’s into martial arts din tulad ng ina at naisip din niyang subukan ang showbiz.

“Since it is the off season and it will be a while before my next competition, I will focus on showbiz. I will give the same drive, passion, and discipline. I do believe I will be able to manage my time,” sabi ng 16-year-old na taga-Brent School.

Ibinahagi ni Crosby na nakadalo na siya ng acting workshops bilang paghahanda sa bago niyang karera.

Aniya, “I did a few workshops when I was younger. I have done a photo shoot internationally. I want to start with small pictorials first and then eventually acting.”

Isa pa sa mga talents ni Arion ay ang pagkanta, bagay na lalong nagpapursige sa kanya na pasukin ang showbiz.

“I can sing. I lean towards a softer side, like R&B (Rhythm & Blues),” sambit ni Crosby.
