Adiwang, pakay din sina Brooks at Rodtang sa ONE

Hindi lang magiging mas handa at maingat si Team Lakay’s “Thunder Kid” Lito Adiwang sa kanyang nalalapit na laban kay Hexigetu kundi ang 28-anyos na tubong Baguio City ay may mga pakay ding mga susunod na kalaban.

Masusubok ang tikas ni Adiwang laban kay Hexigetu sa ONE: Revolution sa Biyernes, Set. 24 sa Singapore Indoor Stadium. Sakaling manaig siya kay Hexigetu, pakay din niyang makalaban sina dating UFC standout Jarred “The Monkey God” Brooks, at reigning ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang “Iron Man” Jitmuangnon.

Kakasa sana sina Adiwang at Brooks nitong unang bahagi ng taon, pero hindi natuloy dahil nagpositibo ang Pinoy sa COVID-19. Mula noon ay nagkabatuhan ng komento sa social media ang magkabilang kampo.

Kaya naman si “Thunder Kid” ay paghahandaan din si Brooks sa Circle kapag dumating muli ang pagkakataon. “I was a little bit disappointed that the fight fell through. I was really looking forward to fighting him. We had some good banter through the media, and fans were really excited for that one. But I’m sure we will meet again in the future,” ani Adiwang. “We’re both rising to the top, and I have no doubt our paths will cross sooner or later. I’m praying we can meet in the near future and settle the matter in the Circle.”

Nais din ni Adiwang na makaharap si Rodtang sa isang Muay Thai showdown upang masukat ang pagiging Thai superstar at tinatawag na 'Ironman.'

Nagpahayag din ng interes si Rodtang na kalabanin ang Filipino firecracker. “One hundred percent. That fight is still on my radar. I would never call anyone out without the intention of fully pushing through with it. I said that because I wanted that fight to happen,” ani Adiwang.

“I think it’s a tremendous fight and our styles would make for an interesting matchup. But right now, I’m focused on Hexigetu alone. He’s the one in front of me, and I can’t look past him. Of course, in the future, that’s a fight that I would love to pursue. It would be an honor to test myself against Rodtang, one of the fiercest strikers in the world.”
