Batay sa kanilang datos, kabilang sa 234 PDLs na pinalaya, nasa 106 ang released on parole, 104 ang nagsilbi ng kanilang maximum sentence with Good Conduct Time Allowance (GCTA), habang 12 ang acquitted.

Ang mga inmates naman mula sa NBP, 8 ang acquitted, 71 ang released on parole, at 45 ang nagsilbi ng kanilang maximum sentence with GCTA.

Samantala, dinaluhan ang culminating program nina Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) chief Persida Acosta at Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla.

Noong Setyembre, mahigit sa 350 PDLs ang kanilang pinalaya.

Sa isang ambush interview, sinabi ni Remulla na tinatarget na niyang makapag-release ng tinatayang 5,000 PDLs sa Hunyo 2023.

“By June 30, I want sana at least 5,000 mapakawalan natin based on the work that we do on a daily basis, based on the carpetas that are there,” pahayag ni Remulla.
