2026 MPTC Tour of Luzon bubuksan na sa Calatagan

Pormal na bubuksan ang MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026 ngayong araw kung saan ay magkakaroon ng Team Presentation sa opening ceremony na gaganapin sa CaSoBe sa Calatagan.

May 13 teams, 7 locals at anim na foreigns ang magtatagisan ng bilis sa padyakan at tibay ng resistensya sa 14-stage race na may temang “A Heritage in Motion.”

Ipakikilala nina Patrick “Pato” Gregorio, chairman of Tour co-presentor Philippine Sports Commission na kilala na ring “Father of the Tour of Luzon Revival,” at MPTC Tour of Luzon Chief Organizer and CEO Arrey Perez ang 91 riders mula sa iba't ibang nationalities at kasama sa program ang fireworks display sa shore off Balayan Bay.

Inaasahang dadalo sa nasabing prestihiyosong event ay si Ricky Vargas, member ng the Board of Directors ng MPTC Tour of Luzon Organizing Committee at president at CEO of Mediaquest Holdings Inc.

Magbibigay din ng mensahe si Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino.

Kasama sa mga bigating guests sina MMDA General Manager Gen. Nicolas Torre III, na sumali sa Heritage Race for cycling executives, at ang family ni late cycling godfather Albert Lina na sina wife Sylvia at daughter Donna.

Magsisimula ang seremonya sa alas-5 ng hapon.

Nagbabalik si Joo Dae Yeong para depensahan ang kanyang titulo, kasama siya sa Gapyeong Cycling Team sa karerang na suportado ng MVP Group and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp.at aligned sa National Sports Tourism Inter-Agency Committee.
