17 foreign players handa sa World Volleyball Pro Tour

Dumating na sa bansa ang mga manlalaro galing sa 17 mga bansa sa mahigit 30 lalahok sa World Volleyball Beach Pro Tour Challenge na lalaruin sa limang improvised na sand courts sa Nob. 30 Bonifacio sa Nuvali sa Sta. Rosa, Laguna kung saan kamakailan ay nilaro ang Southeast Asian Men’s Volleyball na sinuportahan ng Philippine Sports Commission at Philippine Olympic Committee.


Ang mga players ay mula sa Japan, Canada, USA, China, Brazil, Spain, Austria, at Poland habang sa men’s squad ay Turkey, Great Britain, Australia, Ukraine, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal at Finland.


Ang Norway ay World's No. 1 habang ang Brazil ang top ranked sa women sa tournament inorganisa ng Philippine National Volleyball Federation. Maglalaro ang mga koponan nang sabay-sabay sa limang venue na pangangasiwaan ng mga opisyal ng PNVF. “Actually, we want to put up six playing venues. We decided to put up five venues,” sabi ni Philippine National Volleyball Federation president Ramon “Tats” Suzara. “This is a world class beach volleyball tournament featuring the world’s top teams. I am expecting an exciting competition. Beach volleyball fans for sure will enjoy watching the games,” pagsisiguro ni Suzara.


Sa panayam kay Brazilian coach Kidday Barbosa handa ang mga players na lumaban at kumpiyansa ang 46-years old na mentor na taga Rio de Janeiro na maganda ang ipakikita ng kanyang players na kanyang hinasa ilang buwan na pinaghandaan ang torneo.


Ang mga Pinoy players ay sina Floremel Rodriguez, Genesa Jane Eslapor, Kaylem Hart Pragara, Sophia Jhanine Payara, Rancel Varga, Alche Gupitco, Jaron Kequinton, Alnakran Abdilla, Anthony Albasto at James Buytrago.


Kasama sa mga kalahok ang Australia, Italy, Netherlands, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, France, England, New Zealand, Thailand, Malaysia, Israel, Slovenia, Latvia, Morocco, Slovakia, Estonia at Oman.
