Thailand flights, itinigil dahil sa Egyptian na ‘di sumunod sa self-quarantine

Batay sa kasunduan ng Pilipinas at ADB, gagamitin ang naturang pondo para sa Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) o ayuda sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipinong naapektuhan ng COVID-19.


Sinuspinde ang lahat ng inbound flights sa Thailand nitong Martes, July 14, matapos lumabag sa self-quarantine protocol ang isang Egyptian soldier at nagpunta pa sa shopping mall bago napag-alamang positibo ito sa COVID-19.


Nagsasagawa na ng contact tracing ang awtoridad at tinatayang nasa 1,700 katao ang nasa mall nang maganap ang insidente.


Ayon kay Thailand Prime Minister Prayut Chan-O-Cha, "It happened because people did not respect the rules.


"All inbound flights are halted – there are no more approvals until we can solve the problem."
