Tanker Santor most bemedalled ng NCR sa Palarong Pambansa

PROSPERIDAD, Agusan del Sur - Kinulimbat ni tanker Patricia Mae Santor ng National Capital Region ang lahat ng 7 event na sinalihan upang maging most bemedalled sa 66th Palarong Pambansa na ginaganap dito.


Sinisid ni 18-year-old Santor ang gold medal sa 100 meter Butterfly ng Secondary Girls 13 and Over matapos ilista ang tiyempong 1:04.09 minuto kahapon sa event na suportado ng Department of Education sa tulong ng Philippine Sports Commission, (PSC) sa pamumuno ni chairman Patrick "Pato" Gregorio. "I really had high expectations. That’s my only goal for this season. It's my last year," sabi ni Santor. "Pinaghandaan ko ito I’m glad it all went well in the end."


Bagama't nanghinayang dahil hindi na break ang record sa 100 meter Butterfly, naging emosyunal si Santor pero magaan naman nitong tinanggap sapagkat naging maganda ang kampanya niya ngayong taon.


Dinomina rin ni Santor ay ang 400 m Individual medley, 4 by 50 m medley relay, 50 m butterfly, 200 m individual medley, 200 m butterfly at 4 by 100 m medley relay.

Samantala, malaking bagay ang 7 medalya na inambag ni Santor dahil lalong umalagwa sa medal standings ang NCR, nakalikom na ito ng 46 golds, 38 silvers at 35 bronzes.
