Resource person sa Senado, nagpositibo sa COVID-19

Isang resource person na nakatakda sanang humarap sa Senado ang nagpositibo sa test sa COVID-19, ayon kay Sen. Pia Cayetano sa pagdinig kanina.

Sa ginanap na sesyon, nagkaroon ng pagkaantala sa virtual presentation ni Cayetano at ng kanyang mga staff tungkol sa corporate income tax reform bill.

"Due to the stringent requirements of our Senate medical team, it was required that all resource persons entering the Senate premises to take a PCR test. Because of that, it was discovered that one of our resource persons tested positive," sabi ni Cayetano.

"This is somebody that my team and I have been working with for these past two weeks. And so, the Senate medical team has recommended that everyone else takes a PCR test again today to ensure that everybody else is negative," dagdag niya.

Gayunman, sinagot pa rin ni Cayetano ang katanungan mula sa kapwa mambabatas tungkol sa inihain niyang Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) bill habang siya ay working-from-home.

Matatandaang sa kasagsagan ng pandemya ng COVID-19 noong March, isang resource person din na dumalo sa pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Basic Education, Arts, and Culture ang nagpositibo sa test sa Coronavirus kung saan dalawang senador ang agad nagpakuha ng kanilang swab tests.

Pinapayagan na ng Senado ang physical at online attendance sa mga hearings at sessions simula noong Mayo upang maiwasan ang transmission ng virus.

Gayundin, noong October 1, lahat ng resource person na magpupunta sa Senado ay kinakailangang magbigay ng medical certificates na idineklara na walang COVID-19.
