VICE, PROUD NA PROUD NA KINAMPIHAN NI POPE FRANCIS ANG MGA BADING

Nakakuha ng kakampi si Vice Ganda sa isyu ng legal na pagsasama ng dalawang taong magkapareho ng gender. Ito'y walang iba kundi ang highest leader ng Vatican City na si Pope Francis.

Ipinost ni Vice sa kanyang Twitter account ang news item mula sa CBC News kung saan naka-quote si Pope Francis.

Sabi sa news, sa unang pagkakataon ay inendorso ni Pope Francis ang same-sex civil union.

"Homosexual people have the right to be in a family. They are children of God," pahayag ni Pope Francis.

Narito naman ang caption ni Vice sa kanyang tweet, "Pope Francis na 'yan, oh! POPE FRANCIS!!!! O loko!!!!"

Hindi naman lingid sa marami na karelasyon ni Vice si Ion Perez na kapwa niya lalaki. For sure, nangangarap si Vice na maikasal sila ni Ion gaya ng ibang LGBTQ members na isinusulong na maging legal na ang pagpapakasal nila via the controversial SOGIE Bill.

Sinuportahan naman si Vice ng kanyang Twitter followers sa kanyang tweet.

"I will support you Meme Vice. Being homosexual is not a hindrance to have their own family, they are also human to be loved and to love."

"Yes Meme, hapi kami, puwede na kayo ni Babe mo. Support kami d'yan, ViceIon."

Pero may mga netizens naman ang nilinaw ang laman ng sinabi ni Pope Francis.

"I think it was taken out of context, Meme. He didn't say same sex unions, only civil unions. Plus the English translation of what he really said in the documentary. "Francesco" was questionable by some. The context is he wants homosexuals to be protected from the family.

"But the church has still an absolute stand about homesexuality. I hope it won't be misunderstood."
