Putol-kuryente, bawal pa rin

Nag-abiso ang Manila Electric Co. (Meralco) sa lahat ng konsumer para sa pagpapalawig ng suspensiyon ng disconnection nang hanggang Mayo 14, kasunod ng anunsiyo ng gobyerno sa extension ng modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) sa National Capital Region, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, at Rizal.


“Given the current situation and the extended MECQ, we continue to take into consideration the challenges our customers are facing amid these difficult times. Thus, we will continue to put on hold all disconnection activities until May 14, 2021,” ani Ferdinand Geluz, ang first vice-president at chief commercial officer ng Meralco.


“We hope this additional extension will help ease the burden of our customers, while providing the necessary relief and additional time for them to settle their bills,” dagdag ni Geluz.


Aniya, patuloy ang Meralco na magseserbisyo sa mga mamamayan habang nangakong tutugunan ang lahat ng interes at kailangan ng mga consumers sa panahon ng pandemya.


Ayon pa sa power distributor, tuluy-tuloy din ang kanilang mga operasyon, gaya ng meter reading at pagsunod sa mga iniatas ng Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), habang sineserbisyuhan ang lahat ng mga customers.
