PCSO extends aid to Batangueño scholars, senior citizens, and PWDs

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,000 food packs to indigent seniors and persons with disabilities in Lipa, Batangas, on June 16, 2023, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.

The PCSO Board of Directors, namely: Ret. Judge Felix Reyes, Jennifer Liongson-Guevara, and Janet De Leon-Mercado led the distribution with the local officials of Lipa.

Councilor Mikee Morada said, “The PCSO’s concern moved us for our citizens. In these exceptional circumstances, a national agency has reached out to our community to deliver food packs to the tables of our senior residents and those with disabilities. Thank you very much.”

Judge Felix P. Reyes. In the same ceremony, eight qualified students from different universities in Lipa received scholarship assistance from the office of Director Reyes. He pointed out that this proves the agency’s high value in education.

These programs, spearheaded by the PCSO, bring to life the Marcos administration’s commitment to helping vulnerable Filipinos nationwide.

The public’s continuing support of PCSO games and services made these possible. A portion of the proceeds form the Charity Fund, which is used to help individuals and institutions in need.
