PADIR NI ICE, PUMANAW NA DAHIL SA PROSTATE CANCER

Isang malungkot na balita ang inihatid ni Aiza “Ice” Seguerra kahapon sa kanyang mga Instagram followers. Pumanaw na ang kanyang amang si Decoroso Seguerra o Daddy Dick sa mga taga-showbiz.

“Our family is saddened to announce the passing of our beloved, Decoroso "Dick" Seguerra. Umakyat na siya sa heaven bandang tanghali ngayong Nov. 15, 2020 para makipag-videoke kina Matt Monroe at Frank Sinatra.

“An awesome father, husband, brother, lolo, friend, leader; he has touched many lives by his kindness, gentle support and most of all, his sense of humor.

“We will post details of his wake as soon as we have finalized the details.

“Thank you for all your prayers, good thoughts, and deeds that you've shown our family.

“Makakapahinga ka na, OG Pogi. No more pain.

“We love you always and forever, Daddy,” ang caption ni Ice sa larawan ng ama.

Nag-post din ang misis ni Ice na si FDCP (Film Development Council of the Philippines) Chairperson Liza Diño ng madamdaming larawan nina Ice at Daddy Dick habang magkausap kahapon nang umaga, ilang oras bago pumanaw ang kanyang biyenan.

Makikita sa larawan ang sakit na nararamdaman ni Ice habang tinitingnan ang ama.

“A very intimate father and son moment between Ice and Daddy Dick this morning as they share their last moments together,” ang bungad ni Liza sa caption.

"'I love you, pogi,' this is what Daddy fondly tells Ice. Ice would say I love you back then sing to him his favorite songs.

“But today is special because Ice finally got the chance to tell daddy something that he's never told him before...

“As he was standing by his side, he held his hand and said... 'Thank you daddy... for being the BEST dad,'” patuloy niya.

Ayon kay Liza ay mapayapa raw na yumao ang ama ni Ice kahapon nang tanghali.

“Daddy Dick died peacefully around noon today, surrounded by love and support from his family. We thank everyone for your love and prayers.

“Daddy, rest ka na. No more pain. Thank you for loving me like your own daughter. 'Wag po kayong mag-alala, aalagaan ko po at mamahalin ko po si Ice and the whole family like the way you loved them.

“Mahal na mahal na mahal ka namin,” ang pagtatapos ni Liza.

Matatandaang noong nakaraang Marso ay ipinagtapat ni Ice na nakikipaglaban sa prostate cancer ang kanyang ama. Nitong nakaraang Oct. 30 ay nag-post ang singer na kaunti na lang ang nalalabing oras ni Daddy Dick at sinusulit nila 'yun sa pamamagitan ng mga masasayang sandali sa piling nito.
