SIGAW NG KAMPO NI NADINE: VIVA, INAABUSO ANG MGA TALENTS

Hindi nababahala ang kampo ni Nadine Lustre at ang kanyang legal camp sa demandang inihain ng Viva Artist Agency laban sa aktres.

Nag-file na ng breach of contract ang VAA kay Nadine nang magdesisyon ang aktres na i-terminate na ang kanyang kontrata sa VAA.

Si Nadine ay dating talent ng Viva nang bigla siyang magdesisyon na umalis na sa kuwadra ni Boss Vic del Rosario.

Si Atty. Lorna Kapunan ang legal counsel ng aktres at hindi raw sila bothered sa breach of contract na isinampa ng VAA laban sa kanilang kliyente.

“We welcome the complaint and we are confident that the truth will come out about VAA being predatory, oppressive and abusive not only of Nadine but its many other talents,” sambit ni Atty. Kapunan sa ABS-CBN News.

Inihain ng VAA ang kanilang complaint laban sa actress sa Quezon City Regional Trial Court. Ayon sa Viva, ni-revoke umano ni Nadine ang kontrata niya sa management last January this year. Nilabag umano ni Nadine ang nakasaad sa kontratang pinirmahan.

“Valid and existing agency and management agreement by contracting independently with advertisers, promoters, and other third parties, in utter disregard of the exclusivity of her contract,” ani ng VAA.

Isa pa, exclusive artist pa raw nila si Nadine hanggang June, 2029 base sa valid contractual agreements.

Ayon naman sa legal counsel ni Nadine, pinagtatalunan nila ang pinanindigan ng Viva at iginiit na ang entertainment group ang dapat kasuhan ng paglabag sa kontrata.

Ani Atty. Kapunan, “The contract is an Agency contract and Nadine is the Principal — and it is the right of the Principal to terminate the Agent when it is not performing its commitments under the Agency Agreement.”

Dagdag pa ng abogada, “We are prepared to prove VAA’s material breach of contract. We are likewise prepared to show that VAA is guilty of tortious third party interference by its threatening/ pressuring third parties dealing with Nadine in good faith and scaring them with potential court cases.”

Sinabi rin ni Kapunan na ang mga gawain ni Lustre ay hiwalay sa VAA mula nang magsimula ang 2020.

“Nadine is now self-managing which she has every right to do especially during this difficult pandemic,” esplika ng atorni.

“It is her prerogative to continue to earn without VAA getting an unconscionable amount in agency fees which it does not deserve. This is not Nadine’s fight alone, it is for all talents/artists who are similarly situated.”

Humanga naman ang mga netizens sa tibay ng loob ni Nadine na harapin ang problema.

“Hmm I'd rather hear what the court is going to say... did she or did she not violated her contract?"

Well, ipaubaya na lang nating ang korte ang magdesisyon kung sino sa kanila ang nasa tama at katwiran.
