Kinoronahan ang pambato ng bansa na si Roberta Angela “Ro-An” Tamondong bilang Miss Eco Teen International 2020. Ito ang kinumpirma sa IG post ngayong Linggo ng Miss Eco Teen International organization, kung saan ginanap ang coronation night sa Pickalbatros Resort sa Egypt.
Gayundin, ipinost ng organisasyon ang photo ni Ro-An suot ang title sash at ang kanyang crown. Sa finals ng kompetisyon, nanalo rin si Roberta na taga-Quezon City ng Best In National Costume. May taas na 5’9 ang 18-anyos na si Ro-An na estudyante ng San Beda University sa Manila.
Nauna siyang nagwagi sa katulad ding pageants bilang Binibining Quezon City at Mutya ng San Pablo noong 2019. Nakamit din ng teen beauty queen ang Best Eco Dress para sa kanyang eco-friendly at multi-colored Filipiniana na gawa sa mga recycled plastic bags, sako ng bigas at plastic beads.
Bukod dito, first runner-up din si Ro-An sa Beach Wear prime competition at second runner-up sa talent competition.
"In support to the banning of plastic in the country and to support the Philippine government’s Reduce, Reuse and Recycle program, my team and I decided and came up with a multi-colored modern Filipiniana-inspired serpentine dress entirely made of eco-friendly recycled plastic bags and rice sack embellished with plastic beads," caption post naman ni Roberta.
Ang South Africa ang nakakuha ng first-runner up, ang Netherlands bilang second runner-up, ang Egypt ang third runner-up, at Paraguay ang fourth runner-up.
