In a statement on Sunday evening—originally the last screening day—the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said that in response to "numerous" requests from the public, the movies' theatrical run will be extended through January 14.

Kalahok sa MMFF ang mga palabas na "Becky and Badette,” "Broken Hearts Trip,”  “Family of Two (A Mother And Son’s Story),” "Firefly,” "GomBurZa,” “Penduko,” “When I Met You in Tokyo,”  "Rewind,” “(K)Ampon,” at “Mallari.”
