Dumating ang bagong Japanese ambassador to the Philippines na dala ang mithiing mapaigting ang pagkakaibigan ng dalawang bansa.
Sa isang pahayag ng Embahada ng Japan, si Ambassador-designate Koshikawa Kazuhiko ay dumating sa Manila kahapon, November 26.
"It is my great honor and privilege to be appointed Ambassador of Japan to the Philippines," sabi ni Koshikawa na dating Japan's ambassador to Spain noong 2014 hanggang 2016 at Angola noong 2008 hanggang 2011.
"The relationship between our two countries is a shining example of cooperation and mutual understanding that our forebears have nurtured," ani Koshikawa. "I am delighted to have this opportunity to scale new heights of the bilateral relations and forge even closer friendship."
Bukod sa kanyang pagseserbisyo sa Spain at Angola, nagsilbi rin si Koshikawa bilang Executive Senior Vice President ng Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
"As my diplomatic mission here in the Philippines begins, I shall exert every possible effort to further galvanize the foundations that make our bilateral ties special," ani Ambassador.
"I look forward to working with the people of the Philippines in realizing my commitments," dagdag niya.
