Sinabi ng PTV noong Hunyo 6 na pansamantalang tigil trabaho ang ilang empleyado sa PTV dahil may nag-positibo sa COVID-19 at under monitoring naman ang ilang empleyado at nag-disinfection na rin sa kani-kanilang headquarters para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng sakit.
“The employee, who has been working on remote over the past weeks, is now under monitoring and treatment,” Ayon sa PTV “Meantime, despite the employee’s non-appearance in the station’s premises for weeks, network management has decided to implement testing on all its employees and to send home majority of its personnel, keeping only the barest minimum staffing in the office headquarters, to give way to heightened disinfection and sanitation of the facility,” dagdag pa nito
Inatasan naman ng PTV ang kanilang mga empleyado na sundin ang minimum health standards para maiwasan ang pagkalat ng sakit.
