Iinom lang ng tubig, Howie Severino, hinuli ng awtoridad sa pagtanggal ng face mask

Hinuli ngayong araw ng hapon sa Quezon City si Journalist Howie Severino dahil umano sa pagtanggal nito ng face mask para uminom ng tubig.

Dinala si Severino sa Amoranto Stadium kasama ng daang-daang katao na sumasailalim sa seminar kung paano magsuot ng face mask sa publiko.

Kuwento ni Severino sa kaniyang Facebook Page, lahat ng kasama niya noong oras na ‘yun ay nakasuot ng face mask nang huminto ito sa isang bike shop sa Mother Ignacia para bumili ng inumin.

"I had just finished my drink and returned the bottle to the store before I could pull my mask back up, when at least two vehicles of QC law enforcers arrived to tell me I was talking without my mask covering my mouth and had to be brought to Amoranto for a semina,” sabi niya.

Una ng nabalita na nagkaroon ng COVID-19 si Severino at kabilang na ngayon sa mga gumaling.

"However, I am kind of glad that as QC is an epicenter of the disease in the Philippines, they are finally doing something, even if it’s a bit draconian. I even offered to give a talk at the seminar. Instead they returned my bike and told me I could go home," dagdag nito.

Ibinahagi rin ni Severino na sumusunod ito sa protocol matapos siyang makalabas sa ospital. Nakapag-donate na rin ito ng plasma para makatulong sa mga may sakit.
