Heart, pasok din… KRIS, JOIN SA SEQUEL NG CRAZY RICH ASIANS

Ano'ng buwan kaya ngayong 2020 sisimulan ang shooting ng sequel ng pelikulang Crazy Rich Asians (2018) na China Rich Girlfriend kasama ulit si Kris Aquino bilang si Princess Intan?

Si Kevin Kwan na sumulat ng librong Crazy Rich Asians ang siya ring nagbalitang kasama ulit sa part 2 si Kris, kaya tuwang-tuwa ang Queen of Social Media.

Sa ilang minutong exposure ni Kris sa Crazy Rich Asians ay marami ang pumuri sa kanya dahil ang ganda niya sa nasabing eksena at importante ang karakter niya.

Sa isang panayam para sa bagong endorsement ay naikuwento ni Kris na nagkausap na sila ni Kevin Kwan at sinabihan nga siyang ka-join siya.

“I asked him because the opening of China Rich Girlfriend is the wedding. And then I was asking him, ‘Am I going to be at the wedding? Is Princess Intan invited to the wedding?’

“And he said, ‘Of course! Because you’re the one who gave her (Rachel Chu, bilang si Constance Wu) the validation in Crazy Rich Asians. So I said, ‘Oh, my gosh, I hope it happens!’” lahad ni Kris.

Matatandaang nabanggit din ni Kevin Kwan, Singaporean-American novelist, na humingi siya ng advice kay Kris para sa ilang characters sa bago niyang librong Sex and Vanity.

Ginamit nga raw ni Kevin ang pangalan ni Kris bilang isa sa Filipino characters sa Sex and Vanity.

“He said that, ‘I would imagine that was when your mom went to school.’ And I said, ‘My mom went to St. Scholastica, then she went to Assumption, and then she went to school in the States.' And then he (Kevin) used the schools in the States where my mom went.

“Because my mom went to this school in Philadelphia where Princess Grace of Monaco actually went, so that’s included in the book.

“The sisters who are there (sa libro), they have a cousin named Kris who owns the biggest talent agency in the Philippines. And then they were telling the girl that she could be a model and that Kris is me. And I said, ‘Thanks, Kevin!’” kuwento ni Kris.

Pero dahil patapos na ang 2020 kaya malamang sa 2021 na sisimulan ang shooting ng China Rich Girlfriend at 2022 na ito mapapanood.

Kaya marami pang puwedeng mangyari pero siguradong kasama na si Kris.
