Naglabas ng pahayag ang ABS-CBN ukol sa pananatili ng It’s Showtime (IS) sa GMA-7 next year.  

Masaya ang ABS-CBN na ibalita na magpapatuloy ang IS sa pag-ere tuwing tanghali sa GMA mula Lunes hanggang Sabado.

Taos-pusong nagpapasalamat ang ABS-CBN at ang pamilya ng IS sa GMA para sa kanilang patuloy na natatanggap na tiwala at suporta.  

Pahayang nila, “Patuloy kaming maghahatid ng inspirasyon at saya sa aming mga manonood. Maraming salamat, mga Kapuso, mga Kapamilya, at Madlang People.”

Nagbalik na sa bansa ang award-winning actress na si Hilda Koronel pagkatapos ng 12 taon na pamamalagi sa Amerika.

Isang very intimate “welcome home” and announcement mediacon ang ginanap para sa gagawin niyang comeback movie. 

Pagkatapos ng question and answer sa mediacon ay nabigyan kami ng chance na makausap si Hilda at ang direktor/producer ng movie na si Jun Lana sa isang hotel sa Kyusi noong nakaraang Martes. Ikinuwento ni Direk Jun kung paano nabuo ang proyekto para kay Hilda.  

“The moment we learned that Ms. Hilda was open and was looking for material, uhm, we immediately came out with something. And it’s a project na matagal nang naghahanap ng artista.  

“And then, I submitted the storyline through Ms. Shirley Kuan (Hilda’s manager). And then, miraculously, Ms. Hilda said she’s interested. And then, from the storyline, I submitted the full synopsis. And from there we met, and then, we submitted the script,” lahad ni Direk Jun.  

Sobrang nagustuhan daw agad ni Hilda noong ipresenta sa kanya ni Direk Jun ang kuwento ng movie.  

Ayon kay Hilda, “Uh, it was a magnificent presentation talaga. I really enjoyed that talaga noong binasa sa ‘kin ni Direk ‘yung synopsis. Zoom lang ‘yun, via Zoom lang, but it was really interesting. I really love the story. I got interested in it and I said, ‘Okay. Make the script, okay?’ Hahaha!”  

Iba raw ang movie sa mga ginawa niyang magaganda at klasikong pelikula noon.  

“Yes, it’s kinda different. It’s also a drama. There’s drama in it, but there’s other [elements] in it too. Ibang components na hindi ko pa nagagawa sa ibang pelikula ko. That’s why it’s very interesting,” diin ni Hilda.  

The Mistress (TM) ang huling pelikula na ginawa ni Hilda 12 years ago. Kaya curious kami na malaman kung ano ang na-feel niya sa muli niyang pagtapak sa set.  

“It’s gonna be exciting working with new people, younger ones too. Younger ones talaga. I feel old, ‘no? Hahaha! And I really like the story, so, excited ako, eh. Excited na akong makarating ng set,” sabi niya.  

Na-mention din namin kay Hilda ang pagkakaroon niya ng account sa Instagram. Wala raw siyang nararamdamang pressure sa pagkakaroon ng social media account kung saan agad-agad ay nakukuha ang reaksiyon at impresyon ng mga netizens.  

“I really like hearing from them. I’m having fun. They’re watching it. They’re sending me all these clips, you know, the pictures.  

“Sila ang naghahanap. Sila pa ang nag-e-edit and I really like that. ‘Coz I can’t do it myself. I tell them, kayo na lang then give it to me.  

“So, these are young people—16, 18, 15, you know, and they’re watching and they’re looking. And, ‘We watched this film, Tita, and we’re sending it to you.’  

“And I was like, ‘Paki-edit na, okay? Make it into a reel, okay?’ Hahaha!  

“So, meron talaga kaming relasyon. Younger, older, older, lola, nanay, anak, you know.

Talagang ibang henerasyon ‘yun, nahuhuli ko du’n. So, I really like it. Very exciting,” paliwanag niya.  

Sobrang nag-prepare rin si Hilda sa kanyang comeback movie.  

“Uh, I read my script a lot of times and then, I really think about it. And I was dreaming of some of the scenes already. And I’m trying to see how Direk (Jun) wanted me to do it.  

“Siyempre, I would always ask him, ganito, ganito, ganito. And may sarili rin akong concept sa gusto kong gawin.  

“So, pinag-aaralan ko ‘yun. Of course, may mga lines ako du’n, ‘Okay, teka muna.’ Hahaha! You know what I mean?  

“Ayoko munang ibisto sa kanila ‘yun. It’s not an easy project but it’s really complicated but a very, very interesting story. I really love it,” tsika ni Hilda.  

Nakapag-shoot na pala sina Hilda at Direk Jun ngayong Disyembre.  

Sey ni Hilda, “Habang nagha-holiday kayo, nagtatrabaho kami last week pa. Hahahaha!”  

So, we asked her kung paano n’ya mae-enjoy ang Pasko sa ‘Pinas after 12 years, gayung nagsu-shoot na pala s’ya.  

“Ay, okay lang. Masaya naman, eh. I’m gonna see my children and my grandchildren. I’ve seen some of them already. So, I’m having fun,” ngiti niya.  

Ii-spend daw niya ang December 25 at January 1 with her children and grandchildren.  

“Uh, pamilya rin, mga anak ko, some of them are flying from Singapore, some are here.  

“Christmas gift? Just love. ‘Yun lang ang gusto ko. Saka peace and quiet. I want to see my family. So, I just want to be surrounded by love and really wonderful people,” sey pa ni Hilda Koronel.
